O Cross of the Lord, beloved of the heart” (Abouna Yaacoub).
In front of the painting bearing this saying, along with his image and that of Our Lady of the Sea, the feast of Blessed Abouna Yaacoub was celebrated on June 26, 2025, in the outer courtyard of the shrine – Convent of the Cross, in Jal Eddib.
The Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Excellency Bishop Antoine Bou Najm, Maronite Bishop of the Diocese of Antelias, assisted by priests from neighboring parishes.
Faithful from all regions gathered to take part in the feast of our Blessed, hoping for his canonization soon, and asking the Lord, through his intercession, to pour out His graces upon them, bless their families, and rekindle their hope.
