The Cross, Christ the King, the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin: this is the spiritual heritage that Abouna Yaacoub left to the Congregation of the Lebanese Franciscans Sisters of the Cross, founded in 1930. Today, his daughters continue the mission, in Lebanon and abroad, as faithful guardians of their Founder’s vineyard. The Congregation renews its promise, by the power of God, to persevere in the service of humanity burdened by illness, disability, loneliness, powerlessness and poverty, for the glory of God and the love of the Cross.
