On March 21, 2026, the patients of the Sisters of the Cross Institution in Shlifa – Bekaa, both men and women, celebrated Palm Sunday in an atmosphere of quiet joy and heartfelt prayer.
The Mass was presided over by Father Emil Al-Ghossain, during which the patients, together with the Sisters and staff, carried palm branches to welcome the Lord Jesus into Jerusalem as the King of Peace, drawing from this holy celebration renewed hope into their hearts.
The gathering was marked by a beautiful spirit of humanity, bringing together Christian and Muslim patients in an atmosphere of respect and love, united in prayer for healing and peace for all those who suffer.
On this occasion, hearts were lifted to God, praying for peace in Lebanon and throughout the world, with the hope that this home may always remain a place of encounter and mercy, where every patient can find comfort, fraternity, and renewed hope in the midst of pain.
